Biography Paintings
Reinaldo Vargas was born in Havana, Cuba on January 7, 1961. He graduated from La Escuela De Bellas Artes San Alejandro in Havana in 1981. From 1981 to 1984, he taught drawing in La Casa De La Cultura while he worked for a cinematography company in Havana as a poster designer. In 1993, he decided to emigrate to Europe due to the political situation in Cuba. After four years in Paris, Reinaldo decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia where he currently resides and continues his passion for painting. Since 1984, Reinaldo has held a number of solo exhibitions around the world, including Switzerland, Cuba, Martinique, France, and the United States and has gained much renown for his work.
